I am married to Allan, who works in a pawn shop. We have one son.

My hobbies include reading, music, photography and scrapbooking. I love animals, and currently one cat, Sampson, owns me.

My parents are originally from Germany, but proudly became U.S. citizens shortly after immigrating to this country in 1952. My father worked for over 40 years in construction. After my two brothers and I were all in school, my mother worked in a factory. I grew up in a working class family and worked by way through college and law school. (I was lucky in that my earnings were supplemented by a scholarship that I earned, based upon grades, test scores and extra-curricular activities, through my mother's employer.)
